Herr Bier Fass, or Mr. Beer Keg
Abstract
Since the beginning of time, alcohol has been a large part of culture. However, it is expensive and therefore the idea of the keg was invented. Large amounts of alcohol at a bulk price that made it more affordable but more inconvenient. Therefore, we set out to make this drinking experience easier and created Herr Bier Fass. Creating a memorable drinking experience without sacrificing convenience.

Illustrated is the design for an electronic pressure regulator. Homemade design would be able to regulate the pressure for the kegerator through Python Programming. Parts consists of 3D printed housing, Nema 17 Stepper with associated driver, shaft coupler, and mechanical pressure knob regulator assembly. Build was incomplete due to resources of 3D printing being unavailable.
